Weird Times is a chapbook by Tiffany Sia (b. Hong Kong) and Yuri Pattison (b. Dublin) on time-telling and hegemony. Featuring writing by Sia and images selected by Pattison, Weird Times is a brief history on the development of time-keeping technologies. The clock is disassembled as a political tool, a metronome of coercion and an accelerant of war power. Out of these mechanisms, resistant counter-tempos emerge. Commissioned as a response to Yuri Pattison's show at The Douglas Hyde Gallery, the engine.
